1. Free Entry
All Urdu Wali Poetry contests are completely free. No payment of any kind, including a support payment, is required to enter, vote or win. Supporting the website has no effect on contest results.
2. Eligibility
Any registered member who has signed in with a Google account may submit poetry to a contest. Each member may submit one entry per contest unless the contest page states otherwise.
3. Original Work Only
Entries must be the member’s own original poetry. Copied poetry, or poetry written by other poets, will be removed and the entry disqualified.
4. Voting
The voting period for each contest is announced on the contest page. Members may vote for their favourite entries; each member may vote only once per entry. The use of fake accounts, or any other attempt to manipulate votes, will result in disqualification.
5. Selecting the Winner
The entry with the highest number of valid votes at the close of the voting period wins. Results are announced on our website and social media channels.
6. Prizes
The winner receives the cash prize announced on the contest page. The prize is transferred to the winner’s bank account, EasyPaisa or JazzCash account within 7 working days of the winner providing their account details. Prizes are funded by Urdu Wali Poetry, including through the voluntary support of our readers.
7. Final Decision
Urdu Wali Poetry reserves the right to remove any entry that breaches these rules or our Terms of Service. Our decision on all contest matters is final.
